Joris safety razor ebony wood and chrome finish
Safety razor in ebony and chrome finish. Open or closed comb.
This razor is produced and assembled in our Plisson workshops in France.
The safety razor is available with an open or closed comb. The chrome finish is highly resistant to scratches and wear.
The open comb prevents moss and hair from settling on the cutting edge of the blade. The open comb means the blade comes into direct contact with the skin. It's ideal for shaving long, hard hair.
The closed comb option is perfect for people new to safety razors, as the closed comb means less direct contact with the blade. It's also suitable for more sensitive skin.
Blades are available in all shops.
Made in France and delivered in elegant packaging.
Advice for use
It is preferable to shave in the morning, just after showering and before breakfast: the hair, which is essentially made up of keratin, will be softer and easier to cut, and the skin on your face will be less fragile. Prepare your shaving foam by loading the shaving brush with soap or shaving cream. Using products called "Shaving Preparation" has a dual purpose: on the one hand, it amplifies the hydration of the hair by removing its greasy layer (sebum), and on the other hand, it protects the skin from the aggression of the blade. Apply the foam to your wet face in circular movements to straighten the hair. Shave in the direction of the hair, limiting the number of times the blade passes, to avoid irritation. If you wish to make a second pass, apply a new layer of soap or cream on your face and shave, this time in the opposite direction of the hair. Rinse your face with cool water and apply an after-shave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin. The day can begin! Check the sharpness of your razor blade and replace it if worn-out. After shaving, clean the razor with hot water to remove hair and other residues (shaving cream, soap, etc.) to prevent bacteria from growing on the blades. Perfectly cleaned, the blade will maintain its sharpness and effectiveness longer, giving you real pleasure while shaving.
