Shave preferably in the morning, just after showering and before breakfast: the combination of heat and humidity softens the hair, making it easier to cut, and reduces skin sensitivity to the blade.

It is important to use pre-shave products to properly prepare the skin. These products provide a layer of protection and hydration, and help eliminate sebum from the hair, facilitating blade glide.

Apply the shaving foam to your skin using a brush loaded with soap or shaving cream:

1. With shaving soap: Lightly moisten the brush with warm water. Gently rub it on the soap in circular motions until a rich lather forms. Apply the foam to the face with the brush on pre-moistened skin (ideally after showering). Work in circular motions for one or two minutes to stimulate the skin and lift the hair for a more efficient shave.

2. With shaving cream: Apply a small amount of cream to the damp brush or directly onto the moistened cheeks, and lather the face with circular motions for one to two minutes. This not only prepares the skin but also triggers the emulsifying reaction that forms the lather.

Once the lather is evenly applied, you may begin shaving. To avoid irritation and achieve a cleaner result, shave in the direction of hair growth. If a second pass is needed, re-lather and shave against the grain.

Finally, rinse your face with cold water and apply an aftershave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin. Your day can now begin!

To preserve the quality of your shaving brush for many years, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bristles after each use to remove all traces of soap or cream. Squeeze out excess water with your fingers and gently rub the bristles on a towel before placing the brush head-down in a suitable stand.

Check the sharpness of your razor blade regularly and replace it when worn. Rinse the razor under hot water after each use to remove hair and residue, preventing bacterial buildup. A clean blade retains its sharpness and performance longer, ensuring a truly enjoyable shaving experience.
