It is highly recommended to shave in the morning after a shower, when the skin is clean and supple.

Moisten your skin, then using a shaving brush, apply shaving cream or soap. Using a shaving brush helps exfoliate the skin and distribute the product at the root of the hair. Moreover, the circular motions of the shaving brush lift and soften the hair for an optimal shaving experience.

• With soap: emulsify the soap using small circular motions until you obtain a light and creamy lather. Apply the lather evenly over the entire shaving area.
• With cream: apply the cream onto the shaving brush or directly onto your skin. Lather the cream using circular motions and spread it evenly over the entire shaving area.

Then shave in the direction of hair growth, remembering to rinse the blades under water after several strokes. Rinse your face to remove any remaining lather, then dry it with a clean towel. The final step, and not the least, is to apply an after-shave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin.

For the shaving brush: the longevity of your shaving brush depends on proper care. Simply rinse the brush after each use to remove any remaining lather from the bristles. Gently blot it with a towel and let it dry upside down on its stand. The water used for the shaving brush should never exceed 45°C.

For the razor: after each use, rinse the blades to remove hairs and any remaining lather. Allow your razor to air dry. Be sure to check the sharpness of the blades and replace them as needed to maintain optimal shaving comfort.
