With shaving soap: With your face pre-moistened (ideally just after showering), quickly rinse your brush under warm water and lather the soap in a bowl (without crushing the bristles) until a rich, creamy foam forms. Apply to the face in circular motions for one to two minutes, allowing time to soften and lift the beard hairs.

With shaving cream: Once your face is prepared and the brush is moistened with warm water, place a small amount of cream on the tip of the brush and lather your face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to apply a streak of cream directly to each cheek from the tube, then lather using the brush.

To preserve your shaving brush for many years, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly after each use to remove any soap or cream residue. Shake off excess water, then gently rub it on a bath towel before storing it bristle-side down on a proper stand.
