With shaving soap: After moistening your face (ideally after a shower), briefly run the shaving brush under warm water and lather the soap inside the bowl (without pressing the fibres) until you obtain a thick, creamy foam. Apply to the face in circular motions for one to two minutes to soften and lift the beard hairs.

With shaving cream: Once your face is prepared and the shaving brush moistened with warm water, place a small amount of cream on the tip of the brush and lather your face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer applying a line of cream directly to each cheek and then emulsifying it with the brush.

To maintain the quality of your shaving brush for many years, we recommend thoroughly rinsing it after each use to remove all traces of soap or cream and shaking out excess water. Gently pat dry with a towel and store it head down in a suitable stand.
