Briar wood is naturally understated yet features unique color variations, adding a refined touch to this shaving brush, entirely handcrafted in France. Filled with pure High Mountain White badger hair, it provides exceptional softness and shaving comfort. Its qualities allow you to build a rich, dense lather in just a few moments. This shaving brush has a crack in the handle, which is why it is offered at a reduced price.

Size Guide of Plisson shaving brushes

With Plexi or Horn handle, we can make up to size 20

  • With shaving soap : With your face pre-wetted (ideally right after a shower), quickly run your brush under warm water and work the soap in the bowl (without pressing down on the bristles) until you get a thick, creamy lather. Apply to your face in circular motions for one to two minutes, allowing the bristles to soften and lift your beard hairs.
  • With shaving cream : Once your face is prepared and the brush is moistened with warm water, place a small amount of cream on the top of the brush and lather on your face for one to two minutes, as described above. Some users prefer to apply a small line of cream directly to each cheek from the tube, then work it into a lather with the brush.

To preserve the quality of your shaving brush for many years, we recommend thoroughly rinsing it after each use to remove all traces of cream or soap, and allowing it to drain. Then gently pat it with a towel before storing it bristle-side down on a suitable stand.
