Using shaving soap: With your face pre-moistened (ideally after showering), quickly run your brush under warm water and lather the soap inside the bowl (without crushing the bristles) until a thick, creamy foam forms. Apply to the face in circular motions for one to two minutes to soften and lift the beard hair.

Using shaving cream: Once your face is prepared and the brush moistened with warm water, place a small amount of cream on the tip of the brush and lather directly on your face for one to two minutes, as described above. Some users prefer to apply a strip of cream directly to each cheek with the tube and then emulsify it with the brush.

To maintain your brush’s quality for many years, we recommend rinsing it thoroughly after each use to remove all cream or soap residue and shaking off the excess water. Then lightly rub it on a towel before storing it bristle-side down on a suitable stand.
