The High Mountain White fibre is a synthetic fibre, resistant and hygienic, with an exceptional softness and flexibility. In line with the vegan lifestyle and perfectly adapted to sensitive skin, this fibre is inspired by the characteristics of the natural shaving brush Blanc Haute Montagne, the best quality available in the world. With this fibre you get a smooth shaving foam, you stimulate your skin gently and provide optimal protection and hydration.  

This razor is compatible with Gillette Mach3 heads, the classic shaving essentials. It is made entirely of solid brass, so it is slightly heavier than other razors. The weight balances out the grip and makes it easy to use, giving you a nice, clean, close shave. The interchangeable head allows you to keep the handle for many years.

TIPS FOR USE

Shave preferably in the morning, after a shower: the heat and humidity soften the hair, making it easier to cut and opening the pores of the face, which becomes less sensitive. 

It is essential to use products known as "Preparation for shaving" to limit any risk of irritation. These products provide an optimal layer of protection and hydration to the skin and make it easier for the blade to pass through. 

Apply your shaving foam to wet skin, loading the shaving brush with soap or shaving cream: 

1/ With the shaving soap: Wet the bristles of your shaving brush lightly with warm water. Rub it gently into the shaving soap in circular motions until you obtain a creamy lather. Apply it with the shaving brush to your face using circular movements for one or two minutes, in order to stimulate the skin and straighten the hairs of your beard.

2/ With the shaving cream: Place a dab of cream on the bristles of the shaving brush previously moistened with warm water or directly on your cheeks and soap your face using circular movements for one to two minutes. The purpose of this is to prepare the skin but also to provoke an emulsifying reaction, which is the origin of the shaving foam. 

Once the foam has been evenly applied, you can start shaving. To avoid irritation and to get a cleaner result, shave in the direction of the hair, limiting the number of strokes on the same area. If you want a cleaner result, re-shave your face and shave, this time, in the opposite direction of the hair. 

Finally, rinse your face with cool water and apply an aftershave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin. The day can begin!

MAINTENANCE

We recommend that you rinse the bristles of your shaving brush after each use, to remove any residue (soap or cream) and thus preserve its qualities as long as possible. Pinch the bristles between your fingers to remove as much water as possible and then rub them lightly on a towel. Finally, store the shaving brush on a suitable stand, head down.

Clean the shaver with hot water after each use to remove hair and other residues and prevent the growth of bacteria on the blades. A properly cleaned blade will retain its sharpness and effectiveness for longer, giving you a real pleasure during shaving. Check the sharpness of your razor blade frequently and replace it if it is worn.
