• With shaving soap: On your soap, make light circular movements with a shaving brush slightly moistened with warm water until obtaining a creamy lather, which you then apply to your damp skin. Always perform circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes to ease shaving: this stimulates your skin, softens, and lifts the beard hair.
• With shaving cream: Slightly moisten your shaving brush with warm water, then place a small amount of cream directly on it, in a shaving bowl, or on your wet cheeks. Spread the cream on your skin in circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes. The emulsifying reaction created by the brush and the cream provides a protective and moisturizing layer.

Remove any trace of cream or soap after each use by rinsing your shaving brush with warm water. Then squeeze the hairs gently between your fingers and lightly rub them on a clean, dry towel to remove any remaining moisture. Afterwards, store the brush on its stand, preferably with the head facing downwards to allow proper drainage.
