Shaving is best done in the morning, after a shower, when the skin is clean and soft.

Moisten your skin, then use a shaving brush to apply your shaving cream or soap. A brush exfoliates the skin and distributes the product deep into the base of the hair. Circular brush motions also lift and soften the hair for an optimal shaving experience.

• With soap: lather with small circular motions until you obtain a light, creamy foam. Apply evenly across the area to be shaved.

• With cream: apply the cream to the brush or directly onto the skin. Lather using circular movements and spread evenly.

Shave in the direction of hair growth, rinsing the blade under water after a few strokes. Rinse your face to remove foam residue, then dry it with a clean towel. The final and essential step is applying an aftershave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin.

• Shaving brush: Its longevity depends on proper care. Rinse thoroughly after each use to remove all lather. Gently towel dry and let it dry bristles-down on its stand. Water should never exceed 45 °C (113 °F).

• Razor: After each use, rinse the blade to remove hair and soap residue. Let it air dry. Check the sharpness regularly and replace the blades as needed for a comfortable shave.
