Advice for use
It is advisable to shave in the morning, after showering, when the face is clean, moist and the pores of the skin are open which will facilitate shaving. The first step is called "shaving preparation" and consists of lathering up your shaving soap or cream with the shaving brush to obtain a light foam. Then apply the lather evenly to the areas of the face to be shaved in circular motions to straighten the hair, clean and exfoliate the skin. Then shave in the direction of the hair. Remember to rinse the razor after a few strokes to remove the hair and cream from the blades. If you want to make a second pass, repeat the pre-shave preparation step by applying the pre-shave product again and shave against the grain. Rinse your face with warm water to remove any cream residue.
Dry your face with a clean towel and then apply an after-shave balm or cream. This last step is essential to soothe and moisturise the skin.
Maintenance
After use, rinse the blades with water and allow the water to run from the back to the front to remove any hair, cream or other impurities from the razor blades. Well-maintained blades retain their sharpness longer and are more hygienic. Then shake off the excess water and let the razor air dry. The water temperature should not exceed 45°C.
